Warhammer 40k Thousand Sons 6: Sorcerer On Disc

First things first I need a name for this guy! I am really proud of this model, it is one of my most ambitious conversions. As you can see from the first picture (as he stands with a bunch of his boys) that he is made of many parts, that is actually the SM Black Reach sarge and all.

I always love the first look at a mini after it has had its undercoat. All the details just tend to stand out and look sharper. Plus it no longer looks like a hodge podge collection of pieces. To me it starts to look like something GW intended in the first place.

The paint job is coming along well and all. Still lots of work to do but man do I love the blue on the black. Sadly I go on again to mess this one up by hamfisted attempts to add more colour.

Sorry for the quality of the pictures here, I still don’t have any good lamps to work on taking pictures of my models in the evenings. But it does start to give a sense of where I am going with this one. I have a terrifying idea of trying some object source lighting of the sword, first I need to make that look cool.
