While there have been hundreds of posts of the various stunning dioramas on display at Warhammer World it was the old ones my interest was drawn. I saw these in my first copies of White Dwarf and they were the things that truly inspired me in the hobby. Considering the lack of avaible parts and the stunning amount of converting needed with a lot of these old metal models before a lick of paint, it just makes it even more impressive.
This is why to me Warmaster Horus always had two lightning claws for weapons. Everything about this is just posed perfectly, telling a story so easily.
Deathwing getting swamped is always fun, plus it had standard theme of genestealers sneaking coming out of the walls.
I must visit again!
