++++ IRON WARRIORS KILL TEAM CAEDES ++++
Sergeant Caedes is back one last time before his outing to Warhammer World in a couple of weeks. Yes I am actually going to go to the centre of GW madness and shock horror play some games! 16th and 17th of September I will be making the trip over with my Thousand Sons to get in a few games, take a few pictures, realise I am terrible at the game, blame my army and cry in the corner.

To aid me in this I have finished up Caedes and his kill team to round out my squad, as frankly I don’t think the Heldrake will fit in my case and survive the trip over. Instead I put the points into the massively over costed Chosen squad, details seen at the bottom of post one.

There are plenty of little bits I could still do with them and maybe one day I will but for a quick project outside of the norm I think they worked out well enough. They let me try out some new techniques and such, as I am want to do. Sure the hazard stripes didn’t work out too well but some of them are better than I thought. Plus I always wanted to do up some Iron Warriors with shields and spears.

I am torn between Sergeant Caedes and Specialist Reave for my favourite model of the squad, compared to the rest of the squad they have so much more movement. Lesson learned there I think, when making bulwarks of a squad in the troopers they should still have some movement.

At this stage I still have a Rhino to put together and hopefully have it look somewhat like my previous conversion of one, seen over here and here. Still plenty of time to do that and I am sure I won’t be only finishing it in the last couple of seconds… right?
